The thing is, I doubt Rashford is ready for a mentality change. That's the issue I have with getting him on loan.

It’s such a risk free option tbh. Low cost, high reward for a player who clearly has a chip on his shoulder and plenty in his locker

Will he deliver? No risk really, he’ll be gone in summer anyway

True. If we write the contract smartly. I'd go 6 months loan with an option to buy. The question is, would United accept that.

I still dream of Faye, A left footed CB to match cubarsi after Araujo.

But maybe I will have to admit defeat
Honestly think Cubarsí is so good it doesnt really matter if he plays left or right centerback. Most other CBs could pair well with him. Araujo is a defensive beast, but god I wish he was more skilled with the ball.

VVD to mentor Cubarsí for the next few years would be an absolute dream. Afraid it will remain a dream unfortunately tho.

These are fair points, the problem is the mentality/attitude he brings. I mean it's Barca, personally I think he would break his back playing for us. But at the moment, the squad is together and are like brothers out there.

I don't want anyone to come in and upset that. Not to forgot how many youngsters we have who could be negatively influenced.

Is Rashford going to come here and be happy picking up spare minutes on the wing and the odd minutes when we rest Lewa, like Ferran was??? I'm not so sure. Because Don Hansi sure as hell ain't going to pick him over any of the current front 4.

He's not motivated to play for his hometown club which is also one of the biggest in the world, he doesn't care about Barca. Even if he did, he's not good enough anyway.

He can feed the guys who steal wallets around Barcelona if he comes. Stuff like that is more important to him.

Whether it happens or not, I have the impression he is a player with much to prove and a well documented admiration for Barca & our players

I think wherever he may go on loan, if he goes, he has to re-establish his game - he won’t have a free & clear path to starting when he has been on the bench for so long

Of the options out there, I like this one the most - mainly because high reward potential with low risk, moreover temporary and won’t impact FFP

The defence totally collapsed when he came off. Maybe I am too much of a fanboy, but we looked like the way we looked in those losses against the smaller teams. Goal eventually came and they had other chances.

It disgusts me they even considered selling such a player. Honestly, the guy is a total cheat code at defending. May start calling him Ronald Negreira.

With him we can win the Champions League. Without him, probably not. It's that simple.

Even though he decided to stay it's going to take a lot to get past his antics this month. He needs to carry the defense and not have any news in the media for a long time
