It's good that he wasn't there. He has a low IQ and therefore poor positioning and this would be a nightmare for our high defense even taking into account the fact that he is fast. He is also terrible on the ball and would be a real target for Bayern's pressing.

We don't just need a fast defender, we need a defender with great speed + smart with good positioning + good passing.

Highline was completely abandoned towards the end of the first half if you were observant enough. It wasn't working.

Araujo would bully these Bavarian sausages

Think he will get his starting spot back in no time with this kind of set-up. His pace is crucial with the spaces we give our opponents, and against top teams it will be essential.

It depends on how he masters this offside trap, because if he sucks in it it will kill our entire game plan.

Time to apologize, troll. :flick:

Also forgot to post that, but de Ligt is shit on the ball because hes just static and slow, can can't do an assist, Cubarsi and Inigo are way better than him on the ball.

Forgot he existed and maybe for better he is not playing Flick high line as his passing is a bit dodgy.
True his passing is bad, BUT he is the strongest defender we have. Absolutely beast.

It goes both ways.

He would make Vini or Mbappe disappear completely.

...read what you posted above again and then take a furtive look at the mirror....you must be seeing a reflection of a 7 year old kid.

Posting completely irrelevant things seeking for attention reflects a lot on you.

He has his work cut out for him. He's gonna have to work his ass off and perform if he wants to be a starter.

He’s not getting into the starting XI unless he significantly improves his passing.

Teams would target him like PSG did last year.

This is going to be the biggest thing for him. Even more so than his passing.

If he cannot master the offside trap by being disciplined he is simply not going to start.

Flick is not changing his entire tactical approach to fit in Araujo.

We’ll see how he does when he returns.
