There are enough posters here that will never forgive the red and his attitude afterwards. Can’t hide from that.
They also can’t take his injury history. Not much the player can do about that unless he’s not taking care of himself. There’s no clear indication of that.
They do expect him to stay at the club even if underpaid because it’s Barcelona.
To act as if players should not care about money over the club I get. Up to a point.

Now his departure is off the table obviously after Inigo's injury. Let's see what happens in the second half of the season. He wouldn't be the first player to change his mind. If he doesn't, get 30-40m for him in the summer and good riddance. He can be world class, but is also good for dumb mistakes, as well as injury prone. First he needs to stay consistent to demand a top player's wage.
