Advocating to death 4-3-3 is as stupid as advocating to death the 3-4-3.
we have seen pros and cons.. Mainly: Classic 4-3-3 against big sides, 3-4-3 against weak sides that sit back..
The thing is to just use and alternate them wise.

some corrections: versus madrid it was never a 3-4-3.
Pep intentionally never quited the 4-men at the back..
the average positioning for the second half appears so because busquets was stepping up when in possession to build attacks.
When defending it was always 4 at the back..
it was a hybrid, but it really had nothing to do with the 3-4-3 we have seen with two wide players only..
