the way I see it why put yourself at risk and under pressure by getting a basic thing like that wrong in the first place? if puyi was more focused with that initial clearance we wouldn't have been put in that situation and abidal wouldn't have had to rush back and defend that cross that could so easily have been avoided. i'm not worried tho since these mistakes have always been a part of puyols game, i don;t mind if he has mediocre games but turns it up when it matters most (cue madrid)

we should get used to not seeing Puyol in the CL as I'm sure with Piqué's upcoming 2362356737 match ban in La Liga, it'll make sense to rotate him & Puyol in and out alongside Badger to keep everyone fit & firing.
