Just perfect... Just look at the last three Clásicos: 1 assist, 1 goal and HUGE defensive skills! I pity those who say "if he wasn't there you would have lost" because, first: he was there indeed, second: it's his job to defend and block shots, it's not like he was lucky and third: the shots still had to go past Valdés, so I don't think you can consider a clear chance on goal while you have a player in front of you that totally deflects your shot...

Nah Nesta is more talented all round, though Puyol is better as captain so I guess that sorta makes them even in a way. Still, IMO Nesta is the best of his generation, better than Cannavaro, Ayala, Puyol and all them.

At this moment in time i would pick Puyol as Nesta is a bit injury prone.

Nesta is quality but still needs to prove that his latest injury hasn't taken it's toll.
