He tries too hard to fit into a role he can't handle. He has focused way too much on the destructive side of football to try and add something different to the squad. Hasn't worked out for him.

Is it even for footballing reasons? I am thinking he has a chip on his shoulder because of his size tbh and it is what's reflecting in his play.

Constantly tries to act hard and gets little response or gets sat down. People found it funny when we were crap but that isn't passion, he is just dumb. He was encouraged by fans and management previously so maybe its a habit now.

Almost like when he comes on nowadays he is looking to try and prove how hard he is rather than play football. Opposition doesn't even take notice, it is that unconvincing.

Gavi has his own talents, but it's clear he lacks a clearly defined role on the pitch.

He is 1.73 cm, taller than the likes Modric, Xavi or Iniesta, just 1 cm shorter than Pedri or Mascherano.

I think it was just his character being aggressive and overly passionate. It was encouraged during time of crisis and lack of leadership within the team.

He has good football abilities tbh, but he is both rusty from injury and was badly developed. At the age of 20 he has age in his side and could be directed again to the right path.

Flick has helped many of our players, and it took many of them some time (Frenkie for example, Martin too) and non of those came from an injury like the one Gavi had.

It isn't encouraging season, but taking a step back and seeing the whole situation, I would like to wait until next season before making a harsh judgement on his future here.

Get back to basics Scrappy doo and develop as a footballer. Dont need a cheerleader or worlds toughest dwarf. Need footballers.

Not sure. Looks like he loves being centre of it to me.

No issue with players that are reason for the celenrations like those others it but always looks like wants to be upfront of it like Puig was.

Players are not daft and know the coaches reactions are highlights and he looks like races to hang off Flick any time he can.

Looks like a self fulfilling caricature at times and less and less about what he does with ball. That needs to change

But right about now he is passionate as a cheerleader, because he watches from the bench or from the field and does nothing but cheerleading.
