Exactly, another nightmare of a transfer and another delusional player.
You guys cry about every player. Soon Raphinha will be getting this same treatment because what has he really done so far? Ferran was good last year and got burned out. Now he is coming into the season injured and played like 1 official game and everyone cries he didn't score a hat trick?

You can check my earlier posts on him, I was all about giving him a fair shake but he wasnt good last season. He had a few decent games where he scored (despite missing 4x as many as he scored) but soon after he kept missing. Halfway through second half of season he wasnt even getting into position to score anymore and he wasnt doing much of anything else.
He needed to come out blazing this season to prove it was maybe bad luck last season or a dip in form. Instead he had some weird injury which we dont know how he got it while on vacation and wasnt good during his appearance.
This is a fair assessment. Raphinha done a Rochemback where he scored a golazo in pre-season but hasn't shown that much yet bar working hard and passing to the opposition.
Gotta give due patience to Ferran and ignore the fee. If he flops this season then we definitely got Pepno'ed.

Raphinha was very good last weekend especially in the RW position to be fair.
Fair point. Was leaning on the hyperbole there.
Tbf both looked good / similar level in their starts. I mean Ferran done this.

Just fizzled out as he missed alot and then got a badly timed injury for this pre-season.

Raphinha played excellent vs Valladolid, and went in from the bench to contribute in turning the game around vs Sociedad. He only had one bad game in 3 so far. Plus that Xavi is taking it slower with him, doesn't stay too long on the field.
And Ferran is on his 2nd season already with 6 months of pretty heavy playing, being a starter all the time nearly last season after he was signed in the winter.

Movement is his best quality but it means nothing if you can't bury your chances.
