7 - Ferran Torres

We need to pick out players from France/Germany/South America before they go elsewhere and cost 5x the price we could get them for.

Yeah, did that with Pedri. We can maybe hit one transfer like that in the next year or so. But not 4-5.

But you can find players like that for under 50m. Ferran Torres was signed for like 20m a year ago. Coman was signed by Bayern for 7m. Gnabry for 12m.

Salah, Mane didn't cost an entire budget either.

We'll probably be playing with Ferran as CF and Dani Olmo as false 9 next season.

These fools wont sign a proper #9. It always has to be these weirdo hybrid players.

I'd be happy with a proper 9 + Dembouz/Fati/Depay on the wings.

Hope Dembouz fucks off to be honest....unless he is willing to renew on a bench player's salary. One more injury and that guy is finished. Useless player anyway.

Yea, no doubt, the technical staff has to work smarter and better. City got Torres for 20m and we got Trincao for fucking 35 or what it was, in about the same transfer window.

Their obsession with slow players last few years is inexplicable. It makes no sense. Trincao is talented, but his lack of pace doesn't help him.

And if we don't sign slow players we sure as hell sign players to play them out of position, or players that have no position with us for 120m + 10m extra to Atletico and super high wages.

The only question mark witih Ferran is if we can rely on him for goals. If we buy him for 50-60 mil, we should be expecting at least 20 goals (per season) from him at least. To be fair, that should be the minimum for any of our starting attackers, especially at that price.

sounds like a lot of money for a player who has done nothing at a time when whole squad needs an upgrade

Sure, we can do that, and maybe sign someone else for a lower sum, but with more risk. At least Torres is a player highly rated by managers like Pep and Luis Enrique, and a starter for Spain at a perfect age for our project. Doubt we'll find players who thick those boxes at under 50m.

Say between Torres and Anthony for 45+15 who would you choose? I'd go with Ferran Torres.

Pep and lucho seem to rate every player
Highly rated player by pep Eric Garcia never got to play unless he absolutely had to due to injuries or garbage games

Braga bought Abel Ruiz for 8m when we bought Trincao for 31m. So if you want to compare it to Ferran we paid about 3m more for Trincao all in all.

A source said: The player s camp firmly believe this will happen in January, and their hope is it will be agreed before the new year.

Barca want to spread the cost of a move by finalising an initial loan. This will allow them to improve their finances somewhat before meeting Torres price tag in the summer.

City want Eur 60m (51m) for the goalscorer, whereas Barca s highest bid to date is Eur 45m (38m).
