7 - Ferran Torres

I thought his runs in the first half were good. Miles ahead of any other forward we have.

Still first match after a lengthy absence so understandable to be rusty and hardly match fit. Whoever tries to judge him after this is reactionary cretin.

Wasn't too thrilled about his signing but come on, cut the guy some slack, he hasn't played in a long time, debut in a new club. Come on.

Will come good but will never be a touchline winger.

If Xavi signed him for that then he is off his rocker.

Both Fati and Torres need full backs that take width and let them get narrow.

Not old cunts at FB who cant run and have to sit in midfield.

From what Ive seen, he arent particularly great at anything.

That is my problem with him.
Man City fans told the same about him:
1. he is not a winger, he is a hybrid winger-cf
2. not fast
3. not a good dribbler
4. you often forget that he is on a field
5. strongest skill: scores a random goal out of nowhere

If people hope that he will be a classical winger or a pacey winger-dribbler, I think that they'll be dissapointed.

My only real concern for him is the pressure being placed on him. He's being billed as a rockstar signing and flung in the deep end. Hopefully he's integrated at a sensible rate after this.

Judging just from what you wrote, he should be a backup for Fati. Especially the 1st point.

Now now, BBZ. You don't wanna tell us this guy is a City reject, do you?

He played 45 mins after being out 2-3 months with a fracture and the knives are already out. Wow

City fans were quite salty about losing him, but he wasn't particularly important. He is what he is, another prospect. We need him to deliver though, let's wait

Lol If we Use the Depay Barometer.

Seeing the level of Depay for his first Match, I'd love to see his level in let's say 3-4 month

A lot of stressed individuals if after one match in months, at a new team, this guy gets judged as if he had been here for years.
