It's difficult to know exactly what is going on. First we have an agreement in principle, then MD says it's done, then a guy who knows a guy who mows lawn at Anfield says he's staying and the board have rejected the bid. WTF !!

If Coutinho wanted to stay, he would have shut this whole thing down by making a statement.
If Neymar wanted to stay, he would have made a statement.

Don't think he will want to stay if Liverpool goes another year winning NOTHING. Lets see if liverpool has anything to lose then beside Coutinho's transfer fee.

Moneymar didn't say anything because he already knew he was gone. :mathieu:

Nothing is going on, lfc said they won't sell, we are wasting time, I'm already changing my opinion back to Coutinho is inconsistent, overhyped brazilian.

Not a reliable twitter account imo.

Many people make fun of him.

He called Thiago Maia at PSG, like it's done for sure for more than 1 full month despite all other PSG sources claiming there was nothing, and of course it didn't happen.

He said Neymar to PSG was like not true, then changed his mind when he saw it was happening.

He called James to Manchester United 100% sure right at the beginning of the mercato, all proud of himself. Didn't happen.

He threw dates, and dates, and even when he's right about a transfer because even a broken clock is right twice a day, it almost never happens at the right date.

Sorry to break some hearts. You can dig his account tweets if you don't believe me though.

ESPN USA just said that an agreement has been reached. Pretty sure it's unreliable, but just putting it out there. Very weird transfer season. Sources are battling eachother.

Now Gerrard saying they dont want to sell and thats good thing. That they are not selling club and that they have money. Buuuut...

He is worried that Coutinho might alread be in Barca in his head as its his dream and its hard to stop player from leaving in that situation.

Call me crazy but to me La Liga is way more important than the Champions league, mainly because I feel La Liga is a better representation of which team is better between Barca and Madrid; less luck factor. It is like playing roulette. It is more likely that the ratio of black to red is closer to 1:1 the more rounds you play (law of large numbers)

Anyhow.. my point is I know for a fact we are a better team than Madrid. If we only get to sign Coutinho then we are settled. He can alternate between LW and CM as per the requirements

Madrid keep on winning in a very unsexy manner. It is like Zidane has that weird positive energy, even though their team isnt really that sexy

That's what EPL fans say about their league :x

In the end, I think CL brings more fame to a club.

You quote that luck factor, but that's also why some CL campaigns have been legendary.

CL is a fight between the best of the best.
