Kinda feel bad for Liverpool. The better he gets, the closer he is to Barca/RM. I hope he bucks the trend, but I wouldn't be shocked if he moves to Spain.

He would be perfect for our new style of play (especially in combination with Neymar/Suarez). His pressing and workrate are another underrated aspect of his game, that we are sorely lacking in our current midfield.

the same reason we want cry for isco?

Isco is a whole level above him, don't get me wrong he's a good player but he's not cut from the same cloth. He has a great game here and there but then has a whole host of poor ones. We also have other positions to prioritize, i.e. a midfielder who can run the game.

Yeah, Coutinho isn't Isco level (yet) but who that we can realistically get is really? He'd actually be perfect for the way we played in recent matches, even though he isn't really a world class player. Definitely worth a consideration.

Liverpool have some really exciting young talents at the moment. If they can keep them all and let them grow together they could form a rather impressive team over the next 5-10 years IMO.

Sturridge (25), Henderson (24), Coutinho (22), Sterling (20), Moreno (22), Can (21), Ibe (19), Marković (20) and then Ilori (21), Rossiter (17) & Ojo (17) etc coming through soon as well.

i know that. for me isco is easily the best young player currently, at least in his position. but we have ZERO creativity in midfield, ZERO. we CAN control the game more or less, and i really think that buying a creative attacking midfielder now is more urgent than buying a midfielder like koke. although in a season or two it's also a must. just like a RB and CB.

They need to give Rodgers some job security as well. Keep him for no less than two years, unless someone a Simeone/Guardiola/Klopp/Ancellotti-type comes along.

Sterling is 20 and has three kids, or was that just a rumor?

Lol that was just a rumor, he does have one daughter. He became her father at the age of just 17. Everyone believes that he has 3 or sometimes 5 kids but no one knows he has couple of assault charges too. He does not strike to me as a bad person but you never know, appearances can be deceiving.

We should look at making some tactical changes in midfield that free up iniesta to do his thing, as much as I have criticised him I still believe he has it in him.

coutinho for barca? Fuck no, he is an incredibly inconsistent player. Comparisons to isco are way off, isco is a ballon d'or level of talent.

I think calling him inconsistent at this point is unfair. He was fantastic alongside Suarez last season. He won Liverpool's player of the month for December and January and is doing very well this month. He struggled earlier in the season because Rodgers was desperate to shoehorn his overpriced signings all at once and his system was a mess.
