That pretty confirms he's leaving.

Coutinho will be a good signing.

Cant make out what he is trying to say in that first quote.

Hopefully 3-3 with Watford makes them see can still get goals without him but defence and GK need upgraded and they go and take funds to try and do that.

Rivaldinho will come next year.

If he is a signing for our midfield, I'm happy. Just don't end your pursuit for Dembele and think Coutinho will cut it as Neymar's replacement. Rather use Deulo on the LW than Coutinho and his lack of pace.

this totally.

Coutinho needs to play in midfield. i fear for our pursuit of Dembele now though with Paulinho coming..

Well, it's not like we'll use the same formation for whole season. IF we get Cou and not Dembele then we can use him at both LCM and LW positions, depending on opponents and where he would fit better (which we don't know yet). We can play Coutinho LCM/Deulofeu LW against type of opponents that play more open and Deulofeu can exploit that and then Iniesta LCM/Coutinho LW combo against those that are expected to sit back for whole game so we get more creativity. Or if we get Dembele then we can also play 4-2-3-1 in some games. So a lot of tactical options for Valverde which is not a bad thing.

It would be inexcusable now if we failed to get both Dembele and Cou. Paulinho alone isn't going to cut it in midfield. We have more than enough cash to close both deals. Bringin in Paulinho was already in the works b4 Ney left so u could argue that was already catered for in the budget. They had the money for Veratti and that would have cost us about 80 thereabouts. Then with Ney leaving that's 222m added. That's approx 300mil tht we have to work with. Money for both Coutinho and Dembele. Would be fuckin pissed if we can't get these two now.

What if it's not a coincidence we're all of sudden signing paulinho just after coutinho hands in his transfer request..
I'm getting the feeling we're including rakitic in the deal for philippe, Or another midfielder of ours.
