Unless of course a club wants to give a player a year to settle in before selling next year? Would be quite smart planning

But if Coutinho stays (don't forget Lallana also) then they will have to rotate alot with the players. You don't pay that much for someone who spend most time on the bench. The fans will also not be happy about it and it doesn't make sense for the owners of Liverpool either.

Someone get this guy his meds, he keeps parroting out the same BS 100 times a day.

Of course LFC are going to deny everything until they get a suitable replacement.

Balague is responding to every Liverpool story linked to the Coutinho transfer because it's a hot item and gets him attention. It's annoying.

Yes, it ends on September 1 00:00 CET/August 31 23:00 British Time.

So... we've got something like 34 hours.

If we can sign him on Friday until 20:00h than we have 54 hours to be precise. :D

El Mundo Deportivo with better news than this morning:
Movements at the close of the market are intensifying and according to Radio Montecarlo Liverpool and Monaco are meeting to finalize the transfer of Thomas Lemar to the English team. After rejecting two offers from the Anfield team, the last of about 70 million euros according to L'Equipe reported, Monaco would have been open to negotiate and in case of success this operation FC Barcelona could be clearly favored.
In 'Can Barça' are willing to throw the rest for Philippe Coutinho but for the moment they are running into the refusal of the 'reds' to negotiate. The arrival of Lemar, substitute of Coutinho, would be the turning point to unravel the arrival of the international of the canarinha to Barcelona .

They are also hinting that Lemar's transfer could be a key.

Coutinho is still at 50:50 according to William Hill betting site.

Would you rather Lemar for 100M or Coutinho for 150M?

Coutinho.

How else are we going to be able to market in Brazil? :bartomeu:

There is simply no way Coutinho stays if they pull off Lemar as it looks like they are going to bring in Ox as well.

I have read today that it is either Lemar or Oxlade.
They are negotiating with both since they have no time to wait for only 1 guy, like us

They will pick only one in the end.
