Mahrez is a winger for sure, but at his best he is easily one of the best wingers in the world. He is quality through and through, and it was primarily the display of Mahrez and Vardy that saw Leicester lift the Pl trophy. He has seemed off for some time now, probably due to lack of motivation at Leicester. If it does not obstruct our Coutinho signing, I would love to see Mahrez at Barcelona. Es un puto crack, as the locals say.

The guy is just nothing but a one season wonder who did admittedly did well two seasons ago but that's it.

Also, I'd rather say Vardy and (especially) N'Golo Kanté who were Leicester's biggest contributor on an individual level during that season IMHO.

Not only is Mahrez not good enough for us, but he also isn't the right profile we desperately need.

Two footed and in a different class to likes of Deulofeu who is going to get a lot of game time at this rate.
