The sudden Mahrez rumor is probably a smokescreen or an attempt by his agent to get him a better contract. Way too out of the blue and Robert's "surprise signing" is supposed to be young. Assuming that whole thing was true, of course.

If it's a smokescreen from our end, it's probably for the mystery signing and not Coutinho because either that gets done as soon as Liverpool get Lemar or they don't sell him period.

Still think Liverpool's waiting on Lemar. Would be crazy not to take 160m for an unhappy player when they have a replacement. Wouldn't have minded us going for him instead really. Cheaper and 4 years younger.

Mahrez did really well, yes, but can't deny he got massive hype in media and grabbed the headlines throughout that season.

Kanté used to be very underrated outside Leicester fanbase and his performances was mostly overlooked by media/pundits.

The Frenchman was their most best/important player IMO.

Fans of other clubs, fans of Leicester and other players are not all just swayed by headlines. He was their best player.

Kante was massively praised that season as was Vardy.
