Why are people talking about him coming this winter? It doesn't make any sense, sporting wise or even economically. If he didn't leave this summer, why do you think they are gonna let him leave now when they still are in CL and in domestic cup. Why would we buy him now, as he won't be available for us in CL, and we don't need him for the league as our standing suggest otherwise.
But its Barto hence he can always do some next level shit.

Plenty reasons to take him in now if move is on.

Hardly some 'next level' shit to moan about the board but no doubt some will.

IMO Coutinho is not the answer. He's a good play maker in Liverpool; but not so efficient in our standard. Can he be better than old Don? I doubt that. Maybe he will be slightly better than old Don when fully integrated. Still, not worth 150 mils.
Of course, if we change our style even further, if we decide to learn from Klopp, then buy him.

No more risky than buying from anywhere else and Cesc was not bad at all.

Modric came from the Prem as well.

Coutinho has been class in europe and for Brazil as well. He just has it.

150m is fucking expensive but he may be the best attacking midfielder in the world.

I see no reason at all. The only deal seems feasible would be some kind of an agreement between us and pool for the transfer money next summer.

To guarantee get him now and not wait until summer. Cant see Liverpool doing deal where he is with them until then.

Barca have him while still playing for league and cup and allows him to get settled more before next season.

Allows Iniesta more rest for the CL and other players more rest for CL.

Think about it from Liverpool perspective. They are not guaranteed top4 in PL, they are in good position in CL and Cup competition. They need depth and they need Coutinho to have any success this season. They already bought expensive defenseman, so why not give it one last push with Coutinho? Imo. it makes zero sense for Liverpool to send Coutinho to Barca in January. They might agree on the deal, but he is coming here in July, the earliest.
