Go all in for Eriksen. He might do like Bale and try to force a move. He's always dreamed about playing for Barca and said so publicly since at Ajax too.

He'll probably cost twice as much as Walker. Cant see us splashing that amount for him.

Like this player could replace neymar, but nope he should stay at pool.

MBAPPE/dembele that's it, both if possible.

Rule the world for 6 more seasons

Eriksen is great player and would take him but Alli is the one I would take. Be hard to almost impossible to get either this summer.

The only position dele Ali can play is in our front three and as it stands, we are full there unless neymar leaves

He can play AM and would be the best CM at the club as well.

Plays those positions more than he ever plays anything like front three at Barca.

For a player who will be a great CM in a team that plays a passing game, he plays a staggering 36 passes a game, completing 80% of them.

Perfect for our midfield :coffee:

He has been playing further forward last season off Kane most of the time.

I suppose Messi doesnt have the ability on the ball to play in midfield as he makes a whopping 48 passes per game....

So basically you think taking a player who thrives as a SS and plugging him to CM in a team that is as demanding as Barca is a good idea?

About Messi, he is a forward. And his passes are in a good level especially when compared to the rest of his team mates, fellow forwards and with respect to his role at Barca.

In Tottenham Dele Alli is not even close to being a top passer.
Compare his passes (36) to another CAM in the same team Eriksen (53).
And yet we haven't started comparing them on other midfielder traits such as keypasses, keeping possession, having few dispossessions etc.

Dele Alli thrives in those traits that are telling of a forward

I think he can play anywhere in midfield, attacking mid or as a second striker which Barca rarely use.

Eriksen had about the same number of passes as Wanyama. It doesnt reflect ability on the ball.

Seen enough of him to form opinion of what he would bring and where he could play and I know how he was mainly used last season and never based any conclusions on that alone as you seem to be thinking.

What I should really do is what you do and keep mentioning the latest name you have seen others mention like Jorginho.

Well I think he can't play in Barca midfield.
In all Tottenham matches I have watched he fits the attacking third/behind the striker more, especially with his dribbling and eye for goal. And I would take him as Neymar replacement.

His passing leaves a lot to be desired

Who was talking about Jorginho?

Go to his thread and you will see that I was actually the one who brought his name up.
His thread was quiet and I brought it up

His passing is good.

He plays behind Kane most likely as he is so fit and is first line of pressing. Can finish and good in tight situations.

All that and other things translates to playing in Barca mid in my opinion.

You admit on that Jorginho thread you picked his name up from Barca blogs. So as I said just repeating latest name.

Why in your opinion was Jorginho no nailed on for Napoli last season? Or Italy?

His passing is not good, especially for a player who wants to be a CM?
He is miles behind Eriksen in all aspects of passing

He gets dispossessed way too often, almost twice Eriksen

Nah, I was actually surprised that he's not being talked about here as much as in other blogs.
I first heard about him last summer in other blogs.

His passing is good and he gets dispossessed as there to make a difference in final third and take risks. Hence why likes of Messi is one of most dispossessed players in Barca team season after season despite being by far best player on ball.

Nah you are just repeating Jorginhos name as you saw it popping up. Clear as day.
