Coutinho is going nowhere, he is a world class player! The amount of hypocrites in this forum is unbelievable. We all wanted him here, he did everything in his power to come here, not to mention he was fantastic in the second half of last season (our second best player) and now after bad first half of the season 50% of people here want him out.

You people are awful! You did the same thing to Mats and than to Dembele, and now you just changed the thread. What a bunch of morons! I have no doubt that you will do the same to De Jong if he won't be on the world class level during his first 10 games here. The worst fan base I have ever seen!

Yet again not world class but you can Keep making excuses up for him. We paid 160m for this guy, the 3rd most expensive player ever and he's fucking doing fuck all for us. I was totally against his signing and never wanted him for reasons that have been mentioned a million times in this thread. Calling a player out for their performances isn't allowed? we should all bow down and accept terrible performances from our players when they get paid so much... De Jong actually has a place and is needed here, he's required ina position where Busqets is declining and De Jong is on the up. Where the fuck do we need Coutinho if he's not good enough to play in midfield (you know the reason we bought him), He doesn't have the stamina or discipline or decision making to play there at the moment. why the fuck should fans be content with a player that's not putting in effort and is acting like he's entitled rather then working harder to prove his doubters wrong.

Coutinho IS world class on his day but at Barca its not been his day often. EV freezing players out/benching has worked with a few players; Dembele being the main one but Coutinho has always been inconsistent so this won't help

its been said to death by now but:

hes not a winger - not enough pace. this might work with speedsters such as Salah-Mane but not Suarez-Messi
hes not a CM or Iniesta style midfielder and he never will be. people talk about him learning that role.. hes 26 not some youth player

his best position (and imo he'd probably be the best in the world there) is CAM. lethal long shots and playmaking.

the board need to take a fat L on this transfer, we paid 160mil for him and still we rely on Messi (Dembeledependencia soon). Eriksen was the man they should of got but now we have De Jong and Arthur i don't see the need for anymore midfielders unless its a Busi replacement

Coutinho is a luxury player, if PSG want to offer him a way out i'd be happy to break even on the fee

and even if he did stop doing that would we really benefit that much by limiting messi to improve coutinho?

our left flank was destroying teams but that's when roberto conceded so many goals with rakitc being the RW covering for messi
and this was early on in this season.


trying to shoehorn coutinho is causing a lot of problems its time he adapts more to our style and improves.

I believe he is playing with effort and the team (part. Messi and suarez) is behind him. His confidence is low imo and he is pressing, they understand this much better than us mortals. My 2cents from field observations and body language. Further players know the business side, could care less if barca got him on a free or 150mil, they just want a teammate to help them collectively reach greater heights and share the joy of great footy.

Remember the Fantastic Four during Rijkaard final season we had Eto’o, Ronaldinho, Henry and Messi? That didn’t turn out well though. Imagine if we play this lineup back in the days:
