he needs to convert a chance - too many missed ones in a row. It started at the WC with the Brazil NT. He is depressed, lost his confidence.

Try him at CM. If he fails to impress, sell him and take the L. Man's so poor at that LW spot it's not funny. His best perfomances for Barca, ironically, came from that RM spot in a 4-4-2 last season when we used to shit on Valverde for playing him there.

the 1v1 on the keeper at the beginning was a wasted opportunity.

the chance he got at the end of the game was NOT easy. He was pressed closely by 2 Girona players and the keeper. This one was NOT his fault.

Think both Coutinho and Barca would benefit from parting ways, he's never looked entirely settled here. He can be a magnificent player on his day no question.

And why was he pressed closely by those two Girona players? Because he is slow as turtle and they caught up with him so easily. Give that to Dembele and he only got the GK to beat.

He is only playing because of his huge price tag. The biggest transfer flop in history, give Malcom his minutes, at least he will fight on the pitch.

If you feel they're coming, why not shoot bit earlier. Ffs i think he is even coming out of his house with that right foot feint and relying so heavily on it. Hes using it more then robben ffs

He has always been a luxury player though really. In the mould of an Ozil who is capable of brilliance but won't ever really roll their sleeves up when the going gets tough.

It's clear that his confidence is shot, but he also doesn't seem to give of the impression he's particularly bothered about. Trying to do something flashy to make amends but fucking up the basics in the process.

Don't think anyone expected Coutinho to be as fast as Dembele from day one.
