I think his natual progession will be in the deeper areas where he helps build up play rather than playing in the final third.

He has the skill to play in the final third but none of the temperament. He has to be put in a role where he doesn't have to invent runs or seize spaces with high risk, because he just hasn't got the appetite for those situations. And so when the pressure is on, he sort of just fades out of the game.
Something like the position he played in Euros 2020 would be optimal I agree.

In the end is turning into a useless player the more he plays. Some cute turns with the ball but plays no better than Arthur did. Sell this kid for 100 to some idiot team

They are from good to very good, not useless. The problem is the fans' expectations are elite, not just high. So, there's a misalignment there.
Everybody says they'd want the team to just play nicer football, but it's a lie. They wouldn't be satisfied with playing nice and losing. Barca fans, at least the current ones, want to play great football and win big titles. It's just not possible atm.
