He is class. His only small shortcoming is how weak his first 2 steps are.. some world class players who are by all metrics kind of slow (zidane , iniesta , modric ) have that quick Bursts of first 2 steps, which are, combined with world class technique, just leave players in the dust.. For pedri however, even with his great technique and body feints , defenders seem to catch up quickly to his acceleration. I have he evolves physically in that aspect.

Zidane and iniesta .. above and beyond .. by far the best 2 mids I have ever seen. I rate iniesta a centimeter higher I wouldn't be mad if they are considered equals .

No. It was a crowded area and the defender made a good block. He wasn't "quiet". He put Lewy and Lamine 1v1 while effortlessly evading all the challenges in midfield. If Bellingham had his game today we would be having best CM in the world shouts

YB's challenges on him were pathetic. Even with a crap opponent he didn't do anything spectacular.
