8 - Pedri

Happy to see this guy ballin' it injury free.

And in a midfield two double pivot of all things. Things we would have thought impossible a year back.

Of course we are immesely helped by our two centrebacks being better ballplayers than the majority of LaLiga and basically becoming 3rd and 4th mids, so let's see all this against the top sides in Europe this week.

Roll on baby, and let's see what Pedri can cook with the likes of Olmo, Fermin and Gavi back (I think I'm missing someone?)

The most important thing for him is to stay fit and gain stamina. With Olmo, Gavi and Fermin coming back, Flick can rotate comfortably between them and give him enough pauses. If he gets out of the vicious injury cycle, he'll be world class without a doubt.

Bayern and Real next. Will see whether or not he can raise for big occasion like Don Andres.
A bit early to compare him to Iniesta. Pedri is 21 years old. Iniesta in the same age played in Spain's U-21 and had mostly short subs around the last 30 minutes in barca.
