High praise indeed.. maybe just wanted to reference one current player.

Fermin also today apparently named Frenkie as best he has played with.

Gavi loves him and called him a reference in midfield etc in the past.

Countless players have named him as one of if not best and one who has surprised them when joined..but usuals know best.

Xavi 08/09 is the greatest midfielder ever by, no contest.

He had 36 assists that season

Man was controlling tempo to the second, pinging balls all over the park (since park the bus wasn't established yet as a counter-measure for Barca), and putting in 12-13 km every game.

Xavi was a unique irreplaceable profile. FDJ and Iniesta are probably more Pedri's type. He trains with FDJ and we all know that Frenkie has great ability.
