you never heard of the whole Colour Complex?

People think because they are lighter than their counterpart, they think that somehow they are superior. This can be seen in black on black racism, or Indian on Indian Racism, or even Indian on black, or even light black on dark indian!

Yes but I also know the opposite view. I don't see the point you are making. Is racism towards lighter people from black people somehow better than the opposite or what are you trying to say?

Again, how difficult is it to wait and see how it unfolds and then blame the guilty ones? It is pretty pointless to discuss who might be a racist and you is not and who claim to be a victim of racism (just as bad).

No that is not what I am saying. Basically the colour complex is lighter skinned peoples somehow thinking they are better than darker skinned peoples. e.g. a Light skinned indigenous uruguayn would somehow think he is superior to a black frenchman, and MAYBE(BIG IF) use the N-Word towards him. or e.g. black on black racism, or indian on indian racism or hell even Italian on Italian racism! It is all just as bad as eachother. You asked why as an Indigenous person who suffered racsim use the N-Word to a black person. That is the whole reason I mentioned colour complex.

Like I said before, nothing will be proven. How do you prove it? They can't I bet you, even IF it did happen.

I already once told you that I am aware of this but ALSO the opposite view. Apart from that racism is a MUCH wider phenomenon than just skin colour.

No, I only said that I find it unlikely that a person who has suffered from racism and is a miniority (as are blacks in Europe and rest of the world by large) himself would say nigger 10 times during a game.

That is why I advice you and others to calm down and see how it unfolds. The current dicussion is pretty pointless.

BTW Luis Suarez's mother is black...

So that means if he said it that he's not racist?

Like I said, there are black people that are racist to black people. Italians that are Racist to Italians. There mixed race people that are racist to those that belong to the race of one of their parents. They are still being racist IF they use the racial slurs

It's sorta true, Italians hating Italians is standard, its just that being said to be racist is sorta odd to me, like the Italian race just sprang up 150 years ago.

So Dark skinned Italians were never on the end of taunts referring to their dark skin by other Italians?

Do you mean dark skinned like Balotelli, or dark skinned like Quagliarella?

No, not like Balotelli.

I have some friends from Sicily who tell me about it. They say it is not just because of their darker skin. That there are other negative sterotypes of people in the South of Italy that the Northern Italians use to try and belittle them and feel some kind of superiority over them.

I have never belittled a Southerner for their skin color. But certainly for their work shy, corrupted, life of crime, social benefit scamming, backward culture. It's not a race issue though.

Nup, it's more a socioeconomic thing. Italy wasn't a country til 150 years ago - there were a bunch of often competing duchies. And it's my experience (sergio, feel free to correct me) that regional loyalties are still quite strong. I know for example that my grandmother was Sicilian and my grandfather was Calabrese (and boy did grandpa dislike people from naples. his best friend was tuscan, though. they got along just fine). Sergio is a Lombard. That's what you're picking up in Italy, I think -- the regional thing (overlaid with the socioeconomic issues of the north being generally richer and industrialized and the south being poor and less industrialized).

I've been told both, the south thing more. But they have had taunts about being darker they say.

anyway Alex Ferguson says Evra is going to pursue it all the way.
