What because he was born a good footballer?

Regardless of what you're born it still takes hours of hard work and commitment to be a professional footballer, you also mis out on your teenage years when your friends are out partying and having a good time you have to stay in and not enjoy yourself as much as they are...He also had to work very hard it's not like he was snapped up by some big team from the moment he was young like Messi he started out his carear at a Seria C1 side

You said nothing about it being proven or not, you said since he's making millions he doesn't deserve sympathy, be it racism or not, which makes no sense whatsoever.

If you fail to grasp the difference of a an entire stadium abusing Eto'o (proven) and someone saying something in a heat of the moment (allegedly) than suit yourself.
And yeah, I do feel more sympathy for the poor than for the rich if that's what you've been wondering.

I suggest you stop twisting my words. I said it's "hard to have much sympathy". Not that he should be immune to racism.

Twisting?

Sorry dude, I just don't see the correlation between how much money one makes with how much they should be insulted by racism or how much sympathy we should have fro them.

That's just me though...

I am Leg End
* Suarez denied any abuse and fought to clear his name.
* Sky Sports found no footage that supports Evra.
* It emerged that referee Andre Marriner did not hear any of the alleged 10 racist comments.
* While supporting their player, United are leaving the matter to the France left back.

That last point says it all to me...

If Pepe breaks Messi's leg in the heat of the moment in the next ElClassico i think i'll find it hard to find symapty for hiim seeing as he's a millionaire tbh

You don't see it because there's none. Who the hell said that he should put up with it?
If Suarez did say it in a heat of the moment that still doesn't necessarily make him a racist. As I said earlier, if he said it repeatedly that's another matter and should be dealt with.

Nice correlation. Making someone a cripple vs. insulting his feelings. Go ahead, let's hear more.

Give it a rest Bojan, you know that has nothing to do with your point.

You don't care whether its proven or not, you're specifically correlating how much a person should be insulted by racial remarks to how much money they make.

I said I can't feel much sympathy for a millionaire whose feelings are hurt over something that was (supposedly) said in a heat of the moment.

People will be biased when it comes to their clubs or their race though. It's understandable. I know I would be alert if it was Alves, for example, in place of Evra.

Players will say all kind of things in the heat of the moment. He looks for the worst word he can think of that will hurt the other guy. Anyone who ever played football knows this. Also, can't have much sympathy for millionaire like Evra crying about alleged racism. What the hell does he know about suffering (any kind) and does being born into a race makes you entitled to demand anything?

Also, not the best comparison but..If you got drunk once does that make you a drunkard? Suarez said a bad thing in a heat of the moment. Supposedly. But that still doesn't make him a racist. Case closed.

If Suarez said it repeatedly then that's another matter.

oh yes so heat of the moment makes racial abuse all Ok now does it?

I bet you Evra must have done something really bad to make Suarez lose his cool and say Racist comments in the heat of the moment then?

Heat of the moment in my book is when you are literally trading punches, if something of a Racist nature is said at that time, I can understand it happening. What did Evra do that made it such a heat of the moment situation? eh?

I strongly disagree with your logic and I am disappointed in you.

Ask Roberto Carlos about Racism, the multimillionaire footballer that he is, who was LITERALLY CRYING about it on the pitch and in the dressing room after the game when he recieved monkey chants and a banana thrown at him.

Evra looked very distressed. I think something was said. If he suffered racial abuse he has every right to complain about it. No matter how much money or how much of a douche bag he is.

I don't know what was said and I don't know how Evra felt. Nor do you.

They are investigating the case so let's wait and see.

Agreed, nobody knows with any certainty what was said, if anything. For all we know it could've been 'uruguay rules, france drools' or some other nonsense.

That said, IF (and right now it's a big if) Suarez racially insulted Evra, then Suarez was in the wrong (heat of the moment doesn't count here, it's wrong no matter when it is said) and should face the punishment he would clearly be due. Financial status should have nothing to do with any of this.
