I absolutely did not want Saurez, but I've been trying to be positive and get excited about the prospect of what he could bring. But he's not making it very easy. It's not just that he's not scoring, it's that he's offering so little period. If this were any other player like Pedro, we'd all be complaining about how dumb Lucho is for starting him over and over.

I never thought he was anywhere near as special as he was built up to be. Every game I hope I'm completely wrong and he becomes this unstoppable force, but at what point does he get benched for not doing this? I don't want us starting a player purely because of what he did for a different team in a different league last year, or because of his cost.

Is the great, magnificent, unprecedented holy trinity of MSN really looking that much better than Pedro/Messi/Alexis did? I don't think so at the moment. Well part of that is to blame on Neymar, the major disappointment of the MSN so far is certainly Suarez.

I'd be so happy if he scored a hat trick vs PSG and made my post look completely foolish!!

The midfield's the problem. Iniesta fit and on form will help link midfield to attack. Messi's having to do everything.

Suarez have had some excellent games until the last 2, Maybe not scoring, but contributing alot and even deciding one game with 2 class assists.

He doesn't even know where to play. Around the 3th minute Messi was signaling to him to go to the center when he was on the right. No idea why it takes so long despite training with the team for months but he's nowhere near in sync with the team's movements, that's obvious.

Messi is scoring more goals with Suarez on the pitch for a reason. He takes a lot of pressure off him. His goals will come no need to freak after 6 games.

Not worried at all. He hasn't been that good the last 2 games but he had a very good start before that. He'll be fine.

He's playing like a target man most the time and doing an amazing job of it I might add. Right now He's the guy playing in the middle who players pass the ball to and then run into space for the little give and go passes. Obviously we all want him to score goals but I thought that especially last match we played more 1-2s than we have in a while and alot of that revolved around suarez making himself available for the pass.

"excellent"? He's been OK for a 70M signing, not more. Sure, tactics etc is a little bit off at the moment - but still...

Edit: but he still needs a more clear role and he needs to adapt to us - I think he will be more important in the harder games very soon.

Suarez will suffer the same like other strikers playing besides Messi, Suarez is at his best when he is giving freedom in the offense, he can't play exclusively on the right wing and expect him to be effective.

But he's not playing exclusively on the right wing. Suarez will struggle to get near his Liverpool form as back then he had freedom to do what he wanted, but he will still score plenty of goals.

He isn't exclusively playing on the wing though. :/

From this statement, it's clear you haven't been watching the games. Suarez's average positions is more central than Messi.

Apoel, Valencia and Espanyol games:

Don't forget Suarez has missed some unbelievable sitters, for a player of his quality.

Suarez is not suffering from anything, yes he has less freedom than when he was in pool, but it's perfectly logical, you can't give the 3 FWs complete freedom, sacrifices are needed, even Messi is defending more this season.

That said, Suarez had multiple chances to score, to bad his finishing is still lacking, and no he's been playing more in a central position .

Edit:

This is la liga not EPL, players are more mature tactically speaking, he needs time to adapt.

Suarez just needs to think less, just do what he has always done rather than try to comform so much. I really want him to succeed and you can see he is extremely hungry (no pun), with a bit of better finishing/luck he would have 5/6 goals already.
