so frustrating to watch. people were against me when i stated that he has done nothing to merit his hype and pricetag even though his performances demostrates it. easy chances missed time and time again; luis even made him the focal point in the first half and still nothing. not to mention those dives were so painful to watch.he was brought to make a difference in tough games and be lethal in front of goal, so angry to watch that if he buried those chances we could have closed the gap on real madrid since they lost against valencia. honesty sanchez first season started much better than suarez. i dont know why we sold sanchez just when he was became a beast and was a key attacking threat for us. i had high hopes that suarez would be an improvement on sanchez but it looks like the opposite is true for the moment. fair enough if it was an unknown inexperianced young player and a moderate pricetag but Suarez is 27 years old, top goalscorer last season for the premier league, considered one of the best strikers in the world, all time top goalscorer for Uruguay and 85 million euro price and missing chance after chance like that? so far he has been a flop for his pricetag and thats a fact.

Okay so we they said he does not perform here coz he has messi and neymar overshadowing him.Well they were not there for the first half.
They said he does not play well because centre is his natural position. He played one half there.Fucking shit.We payed 80m for this. Why you play like a 20m player?

20 mil...more like 2 mil. Honestly, so far he brought nothing to the game. If he continues like this, we'll be crying for Alexis...but hey, maybe in next game...

Remember those days when pedro used to miss shitloads of goals and we would comfort ourselves thinking that after suarez would arrive all these goals would be buried.

Let's be honest... This team never needed Suarez's goals. We had Messi, Neymar and Alexis who scored plenty. We needed another world class winger with them, to create more competition and to add a little different kind of style to our wide players, not a goalscorer. Yes, Suarez has played as a winger etc. but you don't need someone like that for 80 mills into a team that doesn't need a goalscorer of that kind.
We needed someone like: Reus, Hazard, Cuadrado, Lavezzi, James. Or bought someone like Brahimi, Sterling...

But what is done is done and now all we have to do is hope he gets his s*it together. No point in discussing who/why/how due to the ban.
Henry needed time, Suarez needs some time. Stay positive with him.

He is one of our best players in terms of positioning, decision making, attitude. But his technical skills aren't sharp ATM.

A big nam, big money signing that effectively locks out any new forwards from breaking into the team but when push comes to shove he's generally useless.

Luis Suarez is everything Perez is looking for in a Galactico. So why, then, is he here?

He is here because he was arguably the best player in the world last season.

Suarez failing to score at Barca is due to the style of play being so slow and safe. No point buying a player to not play to his strengths at all.

It seemed he was bought to bring another dimension but all that has happened is little has changed and they are trying to fit him into the team regardless.

If the tactics remain the same he will indeed be a waste of 80m but it wont be his fault.

Why does Suarez deserve a change of tactics when Alexis or Cesc don't? I thought the whole arguement of buying Suarez was cus he's a better fit for Barcelona than Alexis
