He should start scoring some goals though. Otherwise I won't see Barca too well against top clubs in CL.

That's where Luis is on his best. While most of La Liga teams park there busses against Barca and the space is hard to find in CL bigger teams are trying to attack and leave more space behind, that's where Luis is lethal.

Good game today, always shows up in tough games. Needs to start scoring those sitters though 'cause i'm afraid it will start to mess him up.

Suarez plays in a new league, he's not the main man anymore (at Rafinha's goal, he passed to Messi - very good pass - but at Liverpool he would have finished that) and he was banned for 4 months, 2 months without training.

5 goals and 11 assists in 18 games. He's been very important. He was much better than Neymar today and top 3 on the pitch with Messi and Rafinha.

Miss after miss.

Every game.

Setup/assist after setup/assist.

Every game.

Had a great one-touch hit that demanded a great save. Second one was nearly the same to the other post, but wide. They'll start going in, but his contribution to the team is still excellent.

don't know what some people are getting pissed about, it always takes a season for players to adapt to barca, even if we are not vintage barca

I don't mind his presence on the team and think he is truly our Benzema now. He helps the team without scoring.

But if this is his role now, it certainly isn't worth 80me that we paid. He needs to start scoring to justify that price tag.

Lowest pass accuracy on the team after Bravo, despite making only 28 passes - lowest on the team - no through passes attempted, no crosses attempted, no long balls attempted.

Only 41 touches, lowest on the team after Bravo, yet lost the ball 5 times - highest on the team - despite attempting zero dribbles.

And this was one of his better games. Both Messi and Alves ignoring Suarez on break-aways should tell you about the team's confidence in him today.

I swear, you guys keep jinxing him with all the "hattrick" or "golazo incoming" posts.

We should just lock the thread (if we can do that) until the Athletic match. :pep:

Yeah, Messi definitely prefers to pass it to Neymar, Suarez loses the abll during a quick attack in tight spaces, but im sure when he starts scoring they will have more faith in passing it to him.
