Forget the goal. Wonderful hold up play tonight. Proper target man. Strong as an ox. Few months ago was getting called a weak pussy here. He serves L's COLD 🥶

He seems to avoid his left foot often.Excellent tonight, to be a bit critical:
The chance when he was isolated one on one (I forget with who) - he dilly dallied. He really has to come back inside on his right foot and get a shot away. In tighter games he has to get that right, as excellent a striker as he is.
The chance a few yards out he couldn't connect with from the amazing cross. He's gotta lunge for that, or even go with the other foot.
Overall though an 8.5/10 performance for me.
There was a period during Xavi where he was ending up on the ground in every physical duel. Now he looks much stronger and gives the team a reference point when needing to hoof the ball.

I think he's scored a fair amount goals with it over the years (correct me if I am wrong anyone) so it's a little odd.He seems to avoid his left foot often.
yeah…he scored plenty of goals with his left, e.g. one that I remember for sure vs Chile from distance.I think he's scored a fair amount goals with it over the years (correct me if I am wrong anyone) so it's a little odd.
Not every mistake is showing someone's age, mate.Played well, but had a few chances that he should have pulled the trigger on but instead showed his age / rust
