9 - Robert Lewandowski

I don't think anyone dreams about Messi's dick. Few people even thinks he's good looking really. If you mean they love him as a guy because he's a great footballer, that is something I don't involve myself in. He has a lot of flaws as a person.
No. I mean literally talking about his penis. Not kidding. 😂

Lewa was at Bayern 8 years, and his team got bounced by Real Madrid, Liverpool, PSG, Atletico, even Villarreal. Now my memory is hazy so he may have been injured for one or two of these ties, but still...

You are talking about him like he is unstoppable when he plays in the CL...

I understand your point but this is still not a reason to insult some

and everyone likes to hype his favourite player, Messi and Ronaldo fans do it also

if someone disagree with another guy he can beat him in a debate
Excuse me...Where did I insult?

To say...not even that, to insinuate that someone behaves like he has a gay crash on Lewa is hardly an insult, or it should not be his day and age, in any modern society. Am I wrong?
I mean to call it an insult, you gotta have a thin skin.

Not the point I was making and disingenuous comment.

The point is Lewa - like Suarez - has been poor in lots of big CL games. Trying to exonerate him while demonising Suarez is fanboy behaviour. I am not trying to defend Suarez but you guys are Lewa.
I actually think Lewandowski should go after this season, mostly because of his salary, but his goal ratio is more than twice that of Suarez.
He is clear.

His individual performances, numbers and match ratings are sky high.

Why are you hiding behind team results to make your non-existent point? So only players from a single team can have good performances in the CL every season?

"Bayern couldn't win the trophy that year so Lewy bad".

Lewa will always score goals, even when not playing well, he's a goalscorer, like Kane and Haaland.

However, Suarez is clearly the better footballer (though Lewa is an excellent footballer in his own right) and has more magic and creativity.

The point is he had none of that magic and creativity in the biggest club competition post 2016.

We aren't doubting his talent otherwise.

The conversation today is only about him majorly underperforming in the CL. We appreciate his brilliant all round game and scoring record in other competitions.

I don't remember many great individual performances from Lewa other than the ones I mentioned. 'Numbers' - likely a lot of stat-padding in the group stage,

That's not the point I am making. You have oversimplified my point.

My point is Lewa's entire game revolves around scoring. If he doesn't score then he likely doesn't do much else, so if his team is losing easily then he isn't scoring enough. You're trying to defend defeats to Villarreal...

Equally, why are you acting like Suarez is awful just because he doesn't score? In games where Barca probably won some of them anyway. I bet you haven't even watched most of those games and just looked at the score sheet.

Winning 2 leagues for Barcelona would do BIG for his legacy as a football players since no one gives a shit about his german leagues won or whatever happens in that farmer league.

2 leagues with Barca >>>>>>> whatever he done with Bayern outside of CL .

Lol it's funny because it's true.

Winning 2 titles with Barcelona would do more for his legacy, than everything he did at Bayern.

Tell me why a narrow parameter/criterion ;=like 'away goals in the CL post 2016' makes all the difference to you?

As someone else noted, Uruguay had declined hugely over a lot of decades - Suarez and other players got them back near the top of the game. Uruguay is a smaller country than Poland population wise and they were as poor if not worse of a team than Poland, so why don't you note Lewa basically having zero impact for bringing back Poland to a good level? I don't blame him for that at all, but extra credit must go to Suarez for being one of the main on-field catalysts in Uruguay's resurgence.

He will help us winning the league*

And 1 league title at A.M is about 3 for Barcelona.
ATM won when Barca was at it's lowest so they had a similar difficulty level to that of Barca competing for the league that season.

Also Lewandowski's numbers in his Barca spell are way better than Suarez' at ATM despite the former being older.
