Madrid won't need him, rumor has it his agent is eyeing a Timo Werner swap with Chelsea.

If true a big step down for Bayern, I don't think they will agree to it.

too late in his career for a madrid move

maybe he feels he wont receive the recognition owed to him at bayern where not even winning the CL will get him a bdor, since the bundeslol is a bundeslol

We should make a serious play for him. I would give us better chance to win LL over next 2 years with current team + Lewa than current RM + Mbappe. Haaland is a different story. Mbappe for me is not clinical enough, although a world class player obviously.

save yourselves the hypotheticals, If you see a Spanish tabloid break a rumour about a Bayern player and no German source reported it first or jumps on it, then you can be assured that said rumour is not really a thing. Especially this "Lewandowski -> Madrid" saga is one of the most reposted tropes in football. Mind you this rumour was reported at least once at some point EVERY year since 2016.

He's already won everything there is to win at Bayern. Only the CL was missing?

And the Bundesliga title is good but it doesn't turn many eyes at all.

winning la liga and getting humilated in cl wouldnt make his career better i think :p Imo, he should go to a big PL club/Real or just stay at bayern if he wants to upgrade his career.

You're acting like the 3-4 terrible years we had in CL because of some washed up veterans like Busquets, Alba, MATS and co. is going to remain the reality for every single year from here on.

Relax, we've been dominant in the CL many times in the past (even before Pep) and it will happen again in the future.

That's how football cycles work. Liverpool will become a European joke post Klopp (they were literally shit between early 90s and 2017 except for 3 years under Benitez) and Chelsea and City are oil clubs.

Bayern has zero incentives to let him leave unless there is a huge offer that brings them a lot of money to buy his replacement, and at this point, nobody (not us since we can't afford it) I suspect is willing to pay big for him given his age.

If he doesn't renew with Bayern and provided that he doesn't decline drastically, two years from now he will probably be at some lesser-known club in Europe.

Besides, joining Barca would gain him access to the Barcelona museum, a Ballon Dor or two might just disappear all of the sudden :pep:

Bayern will go for Haaland this summer for sure.
Lewa knows his prime time at Bayern is coming to a close sooner or later, but if Haaland joins them it's coming sooner much sooner
