Toni Juanmarti(apparently a top source) claims that almost everyone at Barca agrees RL9 will be a valuable addition to the club. The club considers him a real option this summer.

What the actual fuck?!

This doesn't make any sense to me.

Why would Xavi want another 33 year old Striker when he just one recently?? I mean he can even play False 9 or Ferran at CF if needed.

Seems bonkers to me if Barca are indeed interested in him. But links are getting stronger day by day.

You guys are nuts.

Lewa will be until he is 40! He will age like Zlatan due to his qualities. What he excels at is much easier to retain with age compared to a Leo Messi.

If he can be signed on a 3-4 year contract, then you do it!

If he lasts till that age he'll be more reliable.

Ibra is injury prone af for many years now.

Lewandowski has the greatest injury record any player has had iirc

I think the possibility of getting an awesome older player like Salah or Lewandowski is pretty unbeatable proposition. Imagine how much would our Pedri, Gavi, Nico, Dest, Fati, Ferran, how much these players would grow next to top 5 players like Salah and Lewandowski.

Guys who happen to also have pretty much an elite work ethic and basically are as professional as they get. We're not talking about some lazy amigos here like Messi and Suarez who expect others to do the running for them.

Lewa doesn't press that much you're thinking of Muller

If Lewandowski comes he'll ask to take every penalty and play every minute unless he agrees pre match.

People thinking he's a humble, team-first guy will be surprised. Sometimes the guy doesn't even celebrate his teammates goals. Dude's got a selfish mean streak in him.

As for pressing, RL9 presses if the coach asks him to. Used to press under Flick.

Pep called him the most professional player he has ever met.

In terms of being serious and disciplined, he's second to none. Xavi will love that example for the youngsters in the squad
