They report salary of 16m gross and potential transfers fee of 40m , which is how they got their number.

seem to be relatively smart guys there, I'll take their word over 99% of this forum.

either way it shouldn't be and issue. after all

Nah they can find money for him if want him he wont want move.
Barca could afford any fee he will go for this summer.

But for 13-15M per season for a couple of years I's take that deal.

What 'report'?

Only an idiot would claim or 16m gross salary and then claim '14m on the books'.

Doesnt even make sense.

Believe it does if you like.

Seems you dont understand how it even gets broken down then act arrogantly about '99% on here'.

Wouldn't that put him on 29M/season overall?

40M on a 3 year contract would be quite expensive, that's as much as a 65M transfer on a 5 year deal. So more than Ferran Torres for example, and on a significantly higher salary as well.

Longer contract would be a way around that issue, but then you give a guy a contract that guarantees him 15M/year until he's 40 so not exactly a great solution as well.

Heres what happened.... Jamrock being a bit dim and not understanding what he is reading.

Barca Universal state the 'amortised cost' of Lewandowski being 13.33m a season when they divide the 40m fee they quote over 3 years.

He ignores the salary of 16m they quote which would put costs on books of Lewa to 29M a season.

Tops it all off with some arrogant claim about folk thinking they know more than 99% on here.

For all the arrogance he really has no idea what the numbers are he is discussing.

This is what he read....

Robert Lewandowski has reportedly agreed to a €16m gross salary per season in a three-year contract with Barcelona. If Bayern Munich let him leave for a fee of around €40m, the amortization quota would be fixed at around €13.33m.

Could be wrong but I think I've read somewhere we won't pay any player more than 10m net. We could ofc get a bit around that by including bonuses for individual and team performances. If Lewa bangs 30-40 goals and we still won't win anything then probably won't be his fault and he still deserves a million or two more. Should probably take that money away from Busi, Pique, MATS,... who would be the most likely reason why we won't win.

And yeah, I know this can't and won't happen.

Robert Lewandowski has rejected the PSG interest as soon as it reached him. The Polish superstar only wants Barcelona and is very excited to lead this project. He wants to join the team before the preseason match vs Real Madrid. Lewandowski and his entourage consider Chelsea as their backup option while Thomas Tuchel is pushing for a transfer. Other projects like PSG, Manchester United, Milan and Arsenal aren't considered big enough by the player despite significantly better financial bets.

I rate this. Don't want him to end up at Barca for obvious reason but the guy knows what he wants and is extremely determined and focussed to get it.

Barca is the second last club I'd wanna see him in.

He don't want to live at an obvious shithole. Even if he lives in a nice house, he still has to drive through.

No offence to Parisien viewers. Your baguettes are average.

Don't think it's smart of Bayern to keep him but they kinda backed themselves into a corner by saying he'll stay and they may be kinda worried to have a disaster season if they let him go. So they have to play hard now to either get a great deal or keep him, like they did with Ribery back in the day.

Second half of last season already wasn't great, Nagelsmann not really working out as good as probably hoped so far. Could end bad, even in weak BuLi if they can't adequately replace Lewandowski.

Idk if that's a good approach though, Lewy won't be happy and will leave for free. But wouldn't be the biggest suprise if Barca gets desperate and actually pays them 40-50M.
