Not really and different positions anyway.
Lamine looks a lot more athletic than Gavi.
If it is about how players are built and how coaches see that then age argument goes out of window anyway.
But always different rules.
For some players it is all about age.. Pedri/Lamal.. but when Xavi does it not a peep when other coaches slammed for ir.
Lamal wont start week in week out but he will contribute a lot.

Lamine is not allowed to go all out in gym yet. Lamine isn't that skinny btw. He could build serious muscle later down the road.

Some folk still try to make out Gavi is some physical specimen.
Reality is he gets pushed off ball a lot and resorts to fouls as fails to compete physically to win ball back often.
Lamine on other hand to date appears to have the ability to evade those challenges and read the game a lot better to make it less of a physical battle.

Gavi isn't some athlete .. if anything that is his weakest point as a player.
He's short, slow, skinny and lacks burst. His only athletic strength is having a lot of stamina.
Lamal looks frail but he has some explosiveness and is fairly tall.

Also where do folk want Lamine to get minutes this season? Juv A all season?
If the alternative is B team for less minutes in first team it barely makes a difference.
There are some absolute cloggers in that B team league that would love the chance to target Lamine and all that on some horrificly bad plastic pitches etc.

Gavi is brave not physical lol.
Just the opposite of a Havertz who is strong but a coward.

He is confusing two things... Having grit and fight isn't the same thing as being physically strong.

Yup. Like Messi isn't strong at all(has a very durable body tho) but brave af.

Depends on how you define strong. It's quite possible Messi could put Ronaldo to ground in wrestling due to lower center of gravity.
Messi is strong as an ox. Absolute freak of nature.

Both are very durable and blessed with injury resistance though.

In a way he is. Durability is insane. Neymar take notes.
He won't win in fights though. He's not that kinda strong or physical. He'll be dismantled in a fight with a Van Dijk or Araujo type specimen.
Even someone like Hazard(same type of strong as Messi) beats him up.
