The biggest problem with Lewa is that he is never where he should be. From pure no.9 you expect much smarter movement in the box than he is showing right now. Furthermore, I hate the fact that he is never substituted, even when he is underperforming like yesterday.
That performance was worse than I've ever seen Luke de Jong, Ferran or even Braithwaite play for us.
It wasn't just the touch, or constant losing of the ball. It's the lack of movement and getting in to goalscoring positions. His bread and butter.
It's almost as if he gave up trying. Abde has the ball on the touchline in the last 10 minutes and you are not even in the penalty area???
He drops deep coz nobody in the team can cross and they weren't playing him long balls when he was making runs constantly in the first half. He's insanely frustrated with the team and service.
Teams like Brighton give their strikers 10 times better service than this.
Well he has declined and you do want him to score goals, don't you?So, he's a past it that needs the team to lay it all out for him on a silver platter. He has been terrible and lazy for months already.
Not much unlike Cristiano at United, when they got fed up with him.
Well he has declined and you do want him to score goals, don't you?
What's the point dropping deep in these La Liga games?
Where's the service or chances created for him to try and score?
Not true. Even the best team in the world play with the most limited(but outstanding) poacher.....The team is not good enough to do that. You don't get the luxury to be a poacher at 35 except maybe in Arabia. The teams that could do that for you have younger better forwards.
That's completely false. Even at the most minimum you have to make runs in the box, he's not even doing that. Not true. Even the best team in the world play with the most limited(but outstanding) poacher.....
He's a bum dawgIn the second half he just gave up getting into those positions. He was fuming at them ignoring his runs in the first half. You can tell he's very disappointed with the service he's getting.
