It's about 5-7 or something like that, but gonna get worse if we still can't sign quality players next summer. Other teams are gonna overtake us.

Something is off and imo it's players' concentration that is not as high as it was last season. Plus a change in favor of more offensive football that is giving other teams more space to work with.

Barcas squad is top 5 in CL and behind City and Bayern in a group from there where ties will be 50/50 more or less at worst.

There is no way the squad should get worse. There are a lot of players that should be expected to improve with age not get worse.

Barca have good scope to sell players and raise money.. if they are wiling to do it.

Cant be spending 9m a seaosn on 4th choice CBs though and then end up with Romeu at CB. That is not good enough.

Squad is not going to get worse necessarily, but teams that spend money in high amounts are gonna overtake us I reckon. Pretty soon. Money is no1 driving force in current football. If you are limited on that front, you are at a massive disadvantage.

United and Chelsea will soon sort out their mess. PSG as well. Matter of time.

When they do Barca are gonna drift well outside top 5. Unless, as I said, we get past the financial issue and compete as an elite club. Like Madrid did, signed one of the hottest young talents for over 100m. That sort of stuff...

Elite talents that are also proven require huge funds now. If not able to compete, might as well wait 6 years for Lamal to be ready for example. If he will be.

Pretty meaningless generalisation. We are obviously quite disadvantaged, but also have our squad 90% done. We don't need to spend like United, Chelsea and co.

As long as we aren't losing our top players we are alright mid-term.

They wont unless they sign better players than Barca have.

Man Utd and Chelsea have wasted hundreds and millions on players worse than Xavi has.

EPL has more money but more pressures and competition.

First position alone look at GK.. Chelsea and Man Utd probably spent 150m on GKs and dont have better than Xavi came into at Barca.

Elite talents rarely move clubs and Barca doesnt have a dearth of those compared to others.

Delusional... that would be you comstantly playing down the Barca squad and saying a year or so ago FDJ is worse than Busi and should be sold.

All in on the 'poor Xavi' narrative as ever.

Pep at Barca with this squad and Xavi at City and see what happens..

Nah Pep with this Barca side would get a lot out of them and have them up there as one of CL favs.

Players are there.

It is about the players have more than money spent.

As usual downplaying Barca players... FDJ is not as good as some think, Pedri, Balde etc all over rated, Araujo over rated, MATS is terrible etc.

Fairy tales you can tell folk are how over rated Barca players are like FDJ, Pedri etc while used to gush over talents of Arthur, Puig etc for other coaches.

Aye and you claim Xavi is delusional and argue at length how over rated Pedri/FDJ etc are while for other coaches wasted hours arguing how good Mingueza, Braithwaite, Arthur, Puig etc were.

Delusion is strong on this one.
