Lewandowski had 41 goals this year in club comps, accompanied by 15 assists.
Noone aside from that had 40 goals. This was a pandemic year, most players played maybe 25-35 games.
The only ones who even had 30+ goals in this year were Haaland, Ronaldo, Lukaku and Immobile. And 3 of them are in Serie A, where penalties are given every single game and they are their teams main takers.

Ronaldo is two goals behind from what i can tell, but like you said, Serie A hands out penalties so often it does take something away from the achievment, also, Lewandowski have more assists.

25-35 games isnt quite right though, even though its pandemic year, many will still have 35-40 games before the year is over.
Still, Lewandowski is scoring 1.1 goal per game, which is impressive regardless.

Clearly the best attacker this year, deserves the award.

Yeah, Lewandowski would deserve the Ballon d'Or, or the Fifa Best Award. He has never been the best player in the world but his achievements, performances over the whole of 2020 are probably the best.

Again a brace yesterday and a very nice second goal. Its his year.

Bayern was losing since the 5th minute, too, and Wolfsburg was unbeaten before this game. This season is pretty bad for Bayern in BuLi in general - managed 8-3-1 somehow but it should have been 6-3-3. Bayer Leverkusen and RB Lipzig are playing much better than Bayern just not finishing their chances as well.

Lewy, Coman and Neuer are carrying Bayern, they conceeded the goal first in six consecutive Bundesliga matches so far, the defense is atrocious and I have no idea why Flick still plays Alaba.

Then they will somehow crawl to the first place by the end of the season and people will say "Bundesliga is farmer's league" despite Bayern having much more troubles in it than in the UCL.

bundesliga has 34 matches unlike the other leagues and I doubt he'll play every one of them. think 40 is more realistic target.

Their midfield is way weaker without Thiago / Kimmich and Gnabry is searching his form of last season. Lets see how far they will get this UCL.
