He had 16 goals after 11 games last season, finished with 34 goals in 31 games.

Plus he will not play all the remaining games, i'm thinking he finishes with a similar number like last season.

Again, comparing different leagues and different amount of games is silly, what matters for Lewandowski is the Bundesliga, there 40 goals in 34 goals is the bar, which is very high tbh.

Another game, against the first team in the league this time.

Another goal conceded quickly by Bayern.

Another 2 goals by Lewandowski winning the game for Bayern despite the fact the other team played better.

People will still call him tap-in merchant and Bundesliga a farmer's league.

Without Lewy and Neuer Bayern wouldn't even be top 3.
