Even though i also rate Benz and especially Suarez over Lewa we have to admit he is already 34 and out of his prime, peak Lewa would not have problems in ll. He is top5 striker of this generation.

La Liga fans rate players on the basis of nepotism(oh, look he's my favourite player's mate) and league representation(he plays in the league I'm desperately trying to hype up). :lol:

Actually, Lewa hurt his own case by making the move from Bundesliga to LL and looking like a geriatric who managed 23 LL goals last season and is on pace for like 10-15 this season.

Also, Lewa better than Suarez for his country or better than Benz in CL? :lol: Fuck outta here :lol:

Lewandowski has a higher goal per match ratio in UCL than the big 2 and wayyyyyy higher than Benz. Even in the knockouts, he has a much much higher ratio than Benz.

Benzema was being carried by Ronaldo for years so no one questioned his goalscoring record in knockouts coz they were winning. After Ronaldo left, he had one season where he was very clutch. Oh and before the bullshit narrative of "Ronaldo was the reason Benzema was shite" comes up lemme remind you that Ronaldo created more chances for Benz than vice versa and Benzema used to miss sitters for most of his career and severely underperformed his xG. He has no international career to speak of unless the career is that of groping minors.


Now, let's come to the closer one, the great Luis Suarez. Amazing amazing player no doubt. His assists numbers are vastly above what it should be coz he played with peak Messi and Neymar. Messi is known for solo goals and low xG conversions. Neymar at Barca was great at those things too. Never outside Barca did Suarez ever replicate that assist rate.

Now, let's come to the CL where Suarez embarrassed himself and has 26 goals in 90 odd games.


Lewandowski has 80 goals and 35 assists for one of the most defensive and frustrating National Teams. Has an immense record in league Football for every team. Insane record in CL too. Will end his career on 700 goals and 200 assists with multiple Golden Boots, Fifa WPOTY and other stuff.

What are the actual figures of the goals?

I don't think he has a 'much much higher' in knockout stages than Benzema. Most of Lewa's European goals are against low level village teams like Red Star or Plzen.

Has Lewandowski been shit since the WC? Fuck yes.


But you can't dismiss him as a flop yet.


A finished RL scored 23 in the league in his first season in a team which was low scoring, zero creativity and had many 1 nil wins. Barca won the league and he won the league topscorer.


We're 3 games into the new season. How is this already a failure? The jury is still out....

What are we debating?

Let's see what we are looking at here:


People here watched the glory of MSN week in week out and have love for Suarez(as they should). He has Messi and Neymar feeding him and was third fiddle to them.

Lewandowski's peak had him winning the sextuple as player of the tournament, topscorer in every single tournament(plus top assist in some). For 2 seasons, he was the best player in the world(had 121 goals and 29 assists in 99 games in those 2 years: Messi Ronaldo numbers). Had 41 goals in 28 games in a league campaign. For reference the record is Messi with 50 in 37. Do the math.


Hence, even if we concede Suarez edges him in peak, which he doesn't based on facts but does based on the emotions of Barca fans, it's by a margin of 1 cm.


In longevity, consistency and everything else, Lewy smokes Suarez.



I can understand that La Liga fans don't wanna concede any PL or BL players to be better than their stars but don't let it make you look plain stupid. :lol:


Save them emotions for your love life.
