Sorry bd, but Man City are Eto'os third choice after your lovely city neighbours Manchester United and AC Milan. It's a bit of a kick in the nuts I suppose, even if they are willing to pay Eto'o far higher wages that anyone else. Get ready for a Red Devil unslaught.

Common sense. Eto'o's ego will stop him from signing for City. Unless he just wants to finish off his career with shitloads of cash. :greedy:

I seen it on the Daily Mail website he's waiting for offers from Man U and AC Milan before he goes to City.

It must be true then.

United have said they aren't going to spend big money on anyone over 26 and Milan couldn't afford his wages. Just like Tevez, his only viable option is City.

Any news on Keirrison ?

Laporta said it's a done deal. Keirrison's agent is saying that it will be 100% complete next week. So, yeah, I think we're just waiting to see how we'll use him next season. Loan/Stay etc.

I absolutely don't agree that his only viable option would be Man C. You guys are not in CL and probably will not be even after next season. Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool are just to strong and Arsenal has great youth that could start produce more next season.
I think Eto'o will go to one of the top 3 clubs in Italy if he leaves us - Milan, Inter or maybe Juventus. How you guys got Robinho to sign for you still amazes me. You should start with getting yourself a good coach and than build a team slowly, build up your own distinctive style, tactics and strategy, think long term and so on. Not going after big names. If you guys can finish top 4 next season, and with your big money - than you could sign big names and establish yourself.

Only viable option is Man City is rubbish. Eto'o wants Champions League football and he won't be getting that at City.

If he wants to leave this summer then yes, we are. No other club would pay the reported £35 million for a 28 year old in the last year of his contract. I'm sure the 200k a week could persuade him.

Tevez's situation is that his family doesn't want to move house, so it was either Liverpool or the rags. He's ruled out both, so that makes City top of the list.

Totally agree with you United arnt going to sign another striker I dont know why the press are wasting there time printing about it to be honest .

If they had any sense they would be keeping an eye on United signing a midfield player.

What does that mean? Villa scoring 35 goals per season?

I think so. Villa is a much more clinical finisher than Eto'o and does not have the attiude the Samu has. Just last season Villa scored 28 goals in 33 matches in La Liga and I think 35 is very achievable with supply coming from Messi, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta. Eto'o does not deserve the respect some of you believe Barca should show him. He is extremely unprofessional and quite greedy!
