I think so. Villa is a much more clinical finisher than Eto'o and does not have the attiude the Samu has. Just last season Villa scored 28 goals in 33 matches in La Liga and I think 35 is very achievable with supply coming from Messi, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta. Eto'o does not deserve the respect some of you believe Barca should show him. He is extremely unprofessional and quite greedy!
Agree about Villa he would score 35 in a season for us. We give Eto'o that amount of respect because he has been our top scorer twice, scored in 2 Champions League final and in all has scored 130 goals for the club.

Yes he deserved our respect for all of that and I did not mean we should not respect him for that. What I meant was some people here think he deserves more respect from Barca and with the current unprofessionalism present from his behaivor, I dont think he deserves that.

City end Eto'o interest - Official website

Manchester City has confirmed that it has ended its interest in bringing Samuel Eto'o to the football Club

Speaking about the matter, club CEO, Garry Cook said, “Samuel Eto'o is undoubtedly a fine footballer but the circumstances surrounding him were such that the deal could not be completed.

“We now feel the time is right to pursue other avenues and we have a clear and strategic transfer plan, which we continue to follow.”

Man City have confirmed that they have given up their pursuit for Eto'o. So are we headed for Villa-Eto'o-Messi with Henry as the super sub then?

More like E2 don't want to join Citeh...

well lets hope for Duckie health that Tevez don't buy a house in London otherwise it's goodbye for Tevez as well.. it's quite funny how the most important factor in Citeh signing Tevez is simply his house in Manchester

more like henry-villa-messi with eto'o on the bench.

or someone else buys him.

either way, if he does stay and we sign villa ANYWAY, the power returns to us. we won't need him in a sporting capacity and if he wants to get a move to a decent club he'll have to knuckle-down and work hard to get enough games.

Henry will be the sub-Eto is too good for the bench. A true big match player-2 CRUCIAL goals in 2CL finals. If Sammy stays he will make all his critics eat their words.
