I was gonna ask why the hell Villa then I saw the fee. Makes sense, I don't know why we're selling him and I hope there's a buy back clause in there.

That would be pretty bad...

12m for Adama would be pretty good imo. We made about that much for Thiago, didn't we? And that was a sale that actually hurt the team. Adama is behind all of Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Munir, and Sandro in the pecking order and the introduction of everyone's favorite Korean to the B team this January will likely hurt his chances even more.

Thiago was sold for 24m. I just worry about the possible lack of a buyback option.

We won't sell without a buyback, i am sure of it.

Unless they pay this release clause

No,kid doesn't have what it takes to make it in Barca .sometimes you just need to get your money and say goodbye
Adama lacks a lot of fundamentals to make in in a big club even with his physical tools and raw talent

But you think Munir's good enough to be a part of the A-team..?

Grimaldo leaving?!

Out of curiosity, why don't you think Adama actually was our best player in Barca B?

At least the fee is good.

We might regret it if he turns out to be a world class player in the future but not otherwise.

Top 5?may be .but our best? highly doubt it tbh
Adama started very well with Barca B .but he lacked consistency .later when the team started to break he was one of the main problems with his absolute lack of any football IQ .you may see gr8 highlights for him and good number of goals and assists for him but watching actual games he was frustrating to say at least .kid try to dribble past 4 players all the time .lose the ball in the end of most cases . and he in many cases plays with his head down .most of his passes were blind passes and many were cut .yes he got some assists but if he played with his head up he could have much greater number
Most members here were huge fan of him .you can look at Barca B thread and this one but he lost most of us with his terrible showing game after game
On the other hand Grimaldo was much better and most consistent player .same with Sandro when he was back to B team from 1st team .could rate Samper & Alen higher depends on your preference .I have argued b4 with those who don't think he was among best Barca B player.but saying he is the best is totally unfair to other players

Edit ,in respond to your Edit

I am not a big fan of Munir ,but late in 2013-2014 he was by far best player in our youth ranks .he showed gr8 character and talent and developed tremendously .he gained coach trust which is important in the pre-season last year
Adama hasn't shown anything like that yet .he doesn't have Munir fundamentals and it is clear right now that the club is frustrated by him and doesn't rate him highly .the fact that even with a promotion clause he didn't get an invite for preseason is showing the club isn't happy with him .and he didn't do himself a favor by rejecting return to Barca B

Remember ,Adama now holds a leverage .he can force us to promote him if we don't accept the offer he doesn't like. it is clear something is broken between the club and him if he is leaving with no buyback option

The stats below should say something else about Adama's greatness.

And let's not forget that Adama was named in the Liga Adelantes dream XI and made 14 assists (something you've already mentioned).

There's no logical reason for Lucho to prefer Munir above Adama. There's absolutely no excuse. You could make an argument that Lucho want wingers who cut inside, but does Munir do that? No! This guy doesn't have the ability to create something on his own. Plus he's a master of losing the ball and not least duels. There is no other reason than that Lucho's favouring players! I think Lucho's just too proud to admit that he choosed the wrong player, and now he continue to stick with it.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the club get rid of Lee too...

Edit: Sorry for some errors I made in my text...

I think many forget that Eusebio & Vinyals failed to build a proper team with clear plans (both at attacking and defending).

The tactics regarding the offensive was "give the ball to Adama and hope he'll beat 3-4 defenders and then make a good cross".

Adama should NOT be the scapegoat for the immense failure for Barca B during the previou season.
