And probably that's why Tito preffered him right now instead of Jordi..it will take him some time to synchronize his movements with those of Dani and you can't risk against a team that has CR and Di Maria on the wings. Not to mention that JA didn't had a propper vacation(like the other spanish internationals from our squad did), so he should probably be rested more in the first month.

It looks likes sometimes we forget to put things in perspective and that's why Tello and Adriano are so praized, while Alexis and VV are crucified or JA is made to be a benchwarmer already. And while I understand that the expectations are different from those players I for one preffer to wait \a few months and see where we stand in La Liga before I pass any judgements about this competition between Adriano and Alba. Let's not forget that the Spanish Supercup, even if it's against RM, it's only a little more important than the Gamper.
i think every official cup should be taken seriously

Adriano is only on the Brazil team sometimes, so he could be a good choice for games after Alves and Alba are returning from international duty. It will be interesting to see how many games in a row Alves is in the starting lineup. If Alves ever is on the bench, I would think Adriano would play instead of Montoya.

Alves is so so much better than Montoya I doubt they will be rotating much. Adriano and Alba are almost equals: they remind me of pre 2011 abidal and maxwell. One is good for X game the other is good for Y.

Montoya is in the same mold as Alves though. He loves to bomb forward, has a great defensive awareness about him, and loves to intercept and play free football. Let's not underrate how important this kid will be to our title chances (Liga, CL, Copa, etc) this year, not next year (Alves although runs like a gazelle for years still needs a backup not only to step in but to take charge).

Never been a fan of Adriano at RB. He's a good LB, but just terrible at RB.
Tito should've risked and started with Montoya.

Though i like him and rate him but he was dumb
He made contact with the ball why didn't he use his body to stop ronaldo and make him fall
instead of using his hand just stupid

In the red card play he should have let Ronaldo go...
With 3-0 we needed to score 2 goals, and with 2-0 too, so with 11 against 11 it would have been easier

maybe if he stayed we would've conceded more goals because of his bad game, he was having a really really bad game and I see the red card save us from a huge embarrassment.

Same old story with him. Has a great game then follows it up with a bunch of terrible ones.
