Not only could we have saved 25M but we'd have a better defender in Botia had we kept him. It's unfair that our manager chose to invest in an overrated slow ukranian before even giving our lad his opportunities. :sad:

Pep needs to show some loyalty and bring him back and send the crocked Ukranian on loan instead....

I genuinly can't understand how there are still people that do not rate Botía, as he has developed immensely this season while playing for Sporting. He is what we hoped would come out of Chygsy (I do have hope for our Ukrainian though).

Really think he'd have showed the similar maturity had he stayed!? Would he have got all the starts that he's getting at Sporting!? And what about the difference in mental aspects of the game when he's playing for a mid table club and when he's playing for the best club in the world!? Things are better with Botia as they are imo
