I could understand pep loaning him out, if he were at barca he couldn't have developed the way he has this season, but i will have a problem if he doesn't bring him back next season and gives Chyga the chance.

we shouldn't have wasted 25m euros on a defender, giving how much we have wasted on defenders over the previous two seasons, we would have been alright with

Pique
Puyol
Marquez
Milito
Caceres(chyga has been do better than, caceres would have been this season IMO.)

immaculately conceived
Puyol/Alves/Maxwell
Piqué/Puyol/Marquez/Botia/Chygrynskiy/Milito
Piqué/Puyol/Marquez/Botia/Chygrynskiy/Milito
Abidal/Maxwell

I don't know, seems like an OK defense with rotation possibilities and potential. I don't think anyone has to leave, we don't know what Marquez will provide or how long Milito is going to be healthy.

if he keeps Chyga and bring back Botia then i will have no problem with that, but if he keeps chyga or buys a new defender and doesn't bring back Botia i will be pissed.

Next season we loan out fontas, then bartra the season after that and see how they do

Really think he'd have showed the similar maturity had he stayed!? Would he have got all the starts that he's getting at Sporting!? And what about the difference in mental aspects of the game when he's playing for a mid table club and when he's playing for the best club in the world!? Things are better with Botia as they are imo

Busquets & Pedro are showing maturity at a mid-table club that they wouldn't 've shown had they stayed. oh wait....

With only Puyol and Pique as guaranteed starters in the beginning of the season, there was always room for a third CD. I don't think Pep was really depending on Márquez and Milito this season which was also why the Ukranian was bought. But he turned out to be so bad that an off-form mexican had to be played in puyol/pique's absence and we all know how that turned out. Now Botia could've done the job for us. He would've got more playing time than both Chyg and Marquez and would've done better than both. Playing time wouldn't have been a prob at all. Add to that Pep's guidance and coaching, he would've really developed and been as good if not better.

But yeh...Lets start loaning out and selling our young promising defenders for Chysus the great :bash:

you'll be talking to yourself for most of the time then. you make good points sometimes but drown them in dramatic stuff.

Just because you and a few others are of this opinion doesn't necessarily mean everyone here think the same way. Infact, there are quite a few i know who don't think too highly about your & Valon's posts either. But i won't go in to that. But pls ignore my posts if you find them "annoying". There are others who 'll read and respond to them. Don worry about that.

tbh i think if Botia was not loaned out he never would have came on so strong bc he would be on the bench so much... sporting was perfect for him and he def should be the replacement for rafa marquez in the summer..

zanela way to keep a cool head :)

Sending Botia on loan was a good decision by Pep. We should've loaned Bojan to a La Liga club as well.
