Even after RM lost Ronaldo and were 10 men and short on attackers, they outnumbered us on every counter. Short their MAIN STRIKER and still outnumbering us..... because Vidal is literally not there. We might as well have been playing with a defender sent off.

Sometimes I was wondering where the fuck he was. Didn't see him in attack, didn't see him in defence.I know it's cliche saying this but, I believe that, had we started with 10 men, we wouldn't see a lick of difference. One of the only times where this applies and you wouldn't be exaggerating. He was that bad.

tbf i laughed at some of the shit that he pulled. absolute comedy.

Perhaps one of the worst defensive performances I have seen.

I have no idea why Valverde kept him on the field for the full 90 mins. even a blind man could see what Real were doing. they were targeting him so much and he got exposed so easily. on every counter he was no where to be found on the right side.

Pique had a bad game but due to Vidal's lack of defensive awareness Pique was being overloaded and covering for Vidal. Vidal might have some more chemistry at the moment with the team but there's no way he should be starting over Semedo.

Semedo might not be perfect defensively either but he's far better than Vidal is and it's not even a contest.

Semedo needs to play the return leg if you want to have a chance at getting back, no way Vidal is playing and we're not conceding, you can just feel Vidal shitting his pants when Marcelo or Isco are running with the ball towards him, they know he's the weak link.

Hey guys, first time poster here! Been following the forums for quite a while but finally decided to create an account

Did anyone else see that at times towards end of second half Vidal was drifting towards the left flank? At one time i saw him where Jordi alba would be and was like WTF?? Like no wonder the right right side was so open for the counter attack.
Hope Valverde picks this up along with his other lack of defensive skills, otherwise we are in for a looong season
