With proper support I think we can survive with him at right back for a lot of league matches. Pique is great at organizing his area, Busquets/Raki help out in defense quite a bit. Roberto does deserve to be higher than him in the pecking order as we know he's better at the back.
I think Vidal can function pretty well in attack if we dare to use him there from time to time. I know we're looking for another CF but having Neymar-Messi-Vidal isn't bad at all. He's very good on the ball and fast as all hell. I prefer him in attack to Arda or even Rafinha.

Great attacking-wise, but should never be played in our defense if we want to win. Same story as before.

Yep, nothing changed but the year on the calendar. His pace & runs open things up on that right side much like Camara did but he shows so little intelligence as a defender with rash lunges & poor anticipation. I will be shocked if he turns out to be a reliable RB for us, much less a starter

He won't. It was a bad transfer - somebody think they saw the next Alves in him, I don't even count on him as backup. It's scary really, that we have to rely on him as backup. And I don't think we'll be able to sell him either. He'll be another Song, Hleb, Montoya, Douglas - loan after loan until his contract expires.
Me too, hope he becomes our RB for a long time..

He's offensive abilities is like 7,5/10 but at defending like 2,5/10. RB this season will be our Achilles' heel and everyone will try to use this weakness.

Re-watching that game just makes it even more clear how far away from Barca's first team Vidal should be. Maybe all the various reasons that have been rumored for why Lucho benched him all last season are fake, and the truth is Lucho just... doesn't rate him?
