Lucho says Vidal was spectacular.

What is the point of this flattering from Lucho? He does not use him at all an now he is spectacular. Bullshit.

I dont care if he goes or not we need a proper RB in winter.

Performance Aleix Vidal had against M'Gladbach yesterday seems to have convinced Luis Enrique and player may not be sold in January. [sport]

Aleix Vidal: "It would be foolish to consider leaving the best club in the world. I have a contract here and I think I can succeed here."

And here we go again with this RB nonsense and all of this after one totally unimportant game where he didn't even need to defend once! If we don't buy a proper RB in winter than i'll just give up and accept the fact that our management has no brain at all and that our next coach will have to rebuilt this team from scratch.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
So apparently he's staying, just great... We should reclaim Douglas while we are at it, he scored a goal so he must have come good by now...

Is it weird that I found Vidal-Denis to have a better understanding of each other and Linkup play this game alone compared Roberto and Rakitic have this season? I mean sure Gladbach weren't very good but it felt refreshing to see some creativity on the right hand side with Vidal and Denis.

Did they coincide in Sevilla? If so, this could be the reason.

Aleix Vidal: "The club can make whatever decisions they want with me, but I have no intention of leaving" #fcblive [tv3]

This is nuts.

This guy can actually be a decent winger for a midtable team. But he's never going to be a RB for Barca.

The best for both parties in to cut ties, hopefully our management realize this.

I don't mind keeping Vidal if he is serious about working hard to get a spot.

Of course we need a different approach in defense to cover his side, but this is the least problem of all, IMHO.

If we can make our system work as usual, playing high on pitch with fast and short passes, our defenders will play close to the half pitch line anyway...

What I really want from him is to be decent running, dribbling and making one-two combinations in the third quarter of the pitch, something he couldn't do until now...

It seems that Vidal has finally get on the same page with Lucho and if that's true I'm ok with him staying until the end of the season and playing in CDR and some easier league games when Roberto will be rested. I think he's good enough for that. We won't get a great RB in January and it seems that Srna is demanding a 2,5 year contract which I wouldn't give to him at his age. I'd like for Palencia to get a chance but with Lucho this won't happen. On the other hand I prefer keeping Vidal over getting a washed out veteran like Liechtsteiner or Ivanović.

Both were in Sevilla for the 2014/15 season so it would make sense.

They were but Denis didn't really play much and when he did he mostly played as left winger IIRC so they didn't combined much between them. Of course they could develop some understanding in trainings.
