The only B team player he would consider using in a real game is Munir, who ironically is probably most desperately in need of some B team minutes.

Maybe this is what happens, when you move young player constantly from LB to midfield? If he's not pomoted or loaned Eusebio will just destroy him.
Everyone but Samper, a player who would improve drastically if all he did was pass the ball at a brick wall, have stalled this season.
Adama, Munir, Sandro, Dongou, Grimaldo, Halilovic etc are all much worse off with Eusobio as their coach. He's been lucky to have such talented youngsters keeping his job safe over the years(Imagine what his managerial career would be like if Deulofeu had never come through) but it's catching up to him now.

He has some really nice attacking moments though and is very skilled/intelligent on the ball and in offense. He was playing in midfield earlier, doing well there. I'd actually prefer him in midfield over Halilovic considering how his skillset is more varied and his footballing IQ is pretty high in attack.
It's just that in defense he looks god awful. Can't defend 1v1 for his life, gets caught out of position, is weaker than Alba, etc. He does not belong there, period. A sample size of 3 years in the B team proves that. Grimaldo has talent and ability, he just has the misfortune of being judged for the wrong skillset because it is the wrong position for him.
He was better defender last season, though.

I don't see what Ie has to do with this. Anguy just said that Grimaldo was better defensively last season, than he is now.
